About Us

The Museum of Science Fiction & Fantasy Arts (MoSFA), launched by the Trumbull County Historical Society (TCHS), is co-founded by John Zabrucky. Zabrucky, a pioneer in sustainable prop design, is the founder of Modern Props, the legendary Hollywood prop shop behind some of the most iconic science fiction films of the last four decades. In 2023, he donated more than 500 original high-tech props to TCHS—pieces featured in blockbuster productions such as Ghostbusters, Blade Runner, Men in Black, Galaxy Quest, and numerous entries in the Star Trek, Marvel, and DC universes.

In 2024, TCHS acquired a four-story building at 410 Main Avenue in downtown Warren, Ohio, which will serve as the future home of MoSFA. The museum is currently under development with a creative team that includes architecture firm Hickok Cole (International Spy Museum) and exhibit design firm Thinc Design (Empire State Building Observatory).
